Common Questions

Everything You Need to Know

Here are answers to the questions we hear most often from prospective learners and their families.

Do I need any prior experience or qualifications to join?
Absolutely not. Our courses are designed for complete beginners, and we welcome learners of all backgrounds and experience levels. Our instructors are skilled at adapting to different learning styles and paces, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and supported.
What if I'm not confident with technology?
Many of our learners start with no technology experience at all. Our Digital Confidence courses begin with the very basics - how to hold a device, what buttons do, and simple tasks like making a phone call. We provide one-on-one support and never rush anyone through the material.
How much do courses cost and are there payment options?
Course fees vary by programme length and materials needed. We offer flexible payment plans and work with local organisations to provide subsidised places for those who need financial assistance. Contact us to discuss options that work for your budget.
Are your facilities accessible for people with mobility challenges?
Yes, our Kilkenny centre is fully accessible with step-free access, accessible toilets, hearing loop systems, and reserved parking spaces. We can also arrange additional support if needed - just let us know your requirements when enrolling.
Can family members help me with enrolment or attend sessions?
We welcome family involvement in the enrolment process and are happy to speak with relatives about our programmes. However, classes are designed for independent learning, though we can arrange family demonstration sessions for certain technology courses.
